creating clothing is in my genes, coming from a family of tailors, I was surrounded with dressmaking from an early age. I grew up with a love for anything colourful and creative. here is where my love for creating unique things stemmed from... born in vancouver, canada and now residing in london, uk. my roots lie in india, I love the work of the east, vibrancy and textures of intricate embroideries and like to bring this into my pieces. marrying the cultures of the east and west with class is my aim...I love to see the world and have not yet gone into the depths of my imagination, and have not yet reached half the goals that I have set myself. exploration of different cultures and colours will lead me to endless creations... my aim is the survival of the ancient techniques and crafts of artisans in places where the lack of money leads to their extinction.
